The club requires you to carry a minimum of third-party insurance of £3,000,000 for boats you have at the club.

I've used a couple of dinghy insurance brokers, both of which get good reviews on the internet and have been recommended to me by club members:

  • Noble Marine - Includes new-for-old (check wording) - www.noblemarine.co.uk/dinghyinsurance.php3
  • Bishop Skinner - Cheaper than Noble in my experience, but not new-for-old - www.bishopskinner.com/dinghy-insurance

  • A club member has recommended to me that I secure my boat to the ground in the boat-park as it might not be insured if it blows over and causes damage to others.

Any experiences with these or other brokers people want to share?
