So how can someone start a new topic on this Forum? It seems to me that we can only reply to the existing messages.

David confirms that the Lost Password function is automated and will send a link to your registered email address. (There may be other reasons why manual intervention is required, such as changing the registered email address, but lost password is automatic.)

I have to admit I am not keen on having the forum "open to all", but I will ask David if the "Lost Password" operation can be automated (still checking against valid members email addresses) to avoid the need for him to manual check each time.

We have also recently introduced Dutyman to make it possible to swap duties on-line and in the new year we will be moving to an online membership administration system that will bring more benefits to our members such as online renewal.

BTW, pleased to see that someone has actually notice and replied to my post!
Kevin.

I agree, the e mail banter and everything else should be forum based not e mail.
Maybe Kevin can look into making the forum open to all.
I'm sure someone with administrator rites can moderate the content. I don't remember any trolls, African diamond investment opportunities and the like before.

Well done for managing to log on Jon.
I would have thought the Web site would be the the first place for people to browse, banter and communicate,a few of us have been doing it by email it would be nice to get a few more involved maybe. The Phantom web site forum is "seen" by all,why not ours???
