The old website managed to achieve everything you have suggested Kevin.
The new one has failed to deliver on all counts.
My main bug bear is logging in. This should be automatic in generating passwords.
I don't want to have to ask Dave for a password everytime login fails.
Why do we need such strong security, it's only a sailing club.
I suggest the main thing to do is get the forum working properly.
We'd all like that.

I hear conflicting views about the need for, and what content should be in, a forum. So it would help me to get feedback on what people think?
Should we have an Official FGSC Facebook page?
How many of you are "Friends" of the FGSC Social FB page?
Should we use Twitter to communicate?
How can we share what training events are needed and being planned?
What about swopping duties? Would people use an online tool for that?
What about trying to find a crew?
These are just some of the questions going through my little mind...

I am firmly of the belief we need to communicate better amongst our membership, as well as "market" ourselves to the outside world, so positive and constructive comments welcome!
